Brotton Carnival

Saturday 4th July 2015

Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the Royal Sapphires Jazz Band cannot lead the parade on Saturday therefore the parade is cancelled and the Carnival will begin from 10.30am on the school site.  Girls chosen to play in the Football Tournament can now come to school for the later time of 10.00am.  Entries for the Traditional Show can be dropped into school tomorrow or up until 10.00am on Saturday with 10p entry fee.  We hope you can join us for an enjoyable day for all the family including a Magician, Miniature Railway, Chairoplanes, Climbing Wall, Speed Cage, Rodeo Bull, Bootcamp Challenge, Hook a Duck, Archery, Bouncy Castles and much more.

Free After School ‘Iron Valley’ Club  – Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum 23 June: A Victorian School experience

 

Please join us for our next meeting on 23 June  Travel back in times to the days of the Victorians and experience their school activities in a role-play with games. If you are not signed up to the Club space is still available. Activities this term focus on Victorians and World War I. Forms and further information can be picked up from the school office, or by contacting Jean at the Mining Museum (01287 642877 or email jean@ironstonemuseum.co.uk ). If you intend to come and haven’t been before please phone or email Jean to let her know you are coming. All 8 years and over are welcome.
