Aims of Our Curriculum

Provide a broad and balanced curriculum which includes links to our local context helping the children to acquire the knowledge and skills to fully prepare them for the next stage in their education.
Raise the children’s aspirations and broaden their horizons so that all pupils develop to their full potential, spiritually, morally, socially and culturally.
To create an atmosphere in which pupils are invited to explore issues for themselves, reflect upon and learn from their experiences and those of others and develop sensitivity and a sense of wonder, awe and mystery for the world of which they are part.
Develop resilience so the children can cope well when things are difficult and have the perseverance to overcome barriers to their own learning and to make positive choices.
