School Meals 2016-2017



The cost of a school meal from September 2016 will be £2.00 a day, £10.00 for a full school week. Envelopes are available from the school office. Dinner money should be paid on a Monday for the forthcoming week, sending the correct change if possible, any overpayments will be carried over to the next week.  Any cheques can be made payable to Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council


We offer a range of healthy meals from our hot bar or a cold selection from our salad bar which also offers vegetables grown by St. Peter’s Flower Pots Gardening Club.


If you think you may be entitled to Free School Meals, application forms are available from the school office or can be downloaded from this page.  Please note we cannot award free school meals until authorisation is received from the Free School Meals Office at Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.


If your child is in Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1 then they are entitled to have a universal free school meal, however upon entry into Key Stage 2 payment is required for school meals.


Pupils also have the option of bringing a packed lunch from home for their dinner.


ALL pupils are provided with a drink at lunch time.


If you would like a copy of the school menu please see the main office or if you have any queries regarding school meals please pop in and have a chat with our school cook. 


We are able to accept payments of cash or cheques.  Cheques will need to be made payable to Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council.


We ask that all children remain on their chosen meal arrangement for at least half a term, all pupils are given the option to change their meal arrangement following each half term break.
