Aims and Values
1. Educate the children in accordance with the principles and practices of the Church of
England and the Trust Deeds of the school.
2. Provide spiritual and moral guidance and help develop a sense of honesty, respect and
fairness towards others.
3. Provide a safe, warm and caring environment for all members of St. Peter’s School
where everybody feels valued.
4. Provide opportunities for all children to reach their full potential especially those with
Special Educational Needs.
5. Offer the children a broad and balanced curriculum within an ordered and stimulating
environment.
6. Help children to achieve high standards of attainment in all curriculum areas.
7. Create a positive working atmosphere, to raise self esteem and develop each child
emotionally, socially and intellectually.
8. Develop a sense of fair play and a sporting attitude towards others as well as celebrate
success.
9. Provide an efficient and well managed school.
10. Continue to develop the close relationship between the church and school.
11. Develop closer links with parents, local community, schools and industry sharing
knowledge and expertise.
